Church on Wheels is currently located in Orange City at the 1876 Heritage Inn Lounge at 300 South Volusia Ave (17-92). We have service Sunday mornings from 9:30am to 10:30am, and Bible Study Thursday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
We are a relaxed, non-judgmental, bible-based church that are a group of people who accept everyone just the way they are. We at Church on Wheels have hope and strength in our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We sincerely desire to be all who God called us to be, as we live our lives in this difficult world. At Church on Wheels you will find encouragement to grow in your love and knowledge of our Heavenly Father. It is also a place where if you fall, you will still be loved and accepted. We look forward to meeting you!
Church on Wheels was derived from Living Water Free Methodist Church. The two pastors Joy and Montana (William) Mormur moved on from that church to start their own motorcycle ministry, coming to a bar in DeLeon Springs to preach to the lost. They shared the Gospel there for a couple years until they were called to move on to another location. They ministered at an outdoor sandwich shop until they found a more permanent place in Heritage Inn, formerly known as the Red Roof Inn. Joy and Montana have been preaching the Word since then, while Christopher Anderson (Lay Ministerial Candidate (LMC)) has been filling in, preaching while Joy and Montana were out.
Joy & Montana Mormur have now recently retired and moved up north to Georgia. While they served Church on Wheels, they have done a phenomenal job! Being very difficult for the church family, they will be greatly missed. Reverend Jeffrey Goodine and Chris Anderson have taken over the honored responsibilities of Pastor and Assistant Pastor, respectively. Reverend Goodine comes from a previous church and has been called to be the Head Pastor. Chris Anderson is the Assistant Pastor to Reverend Goodine and both preach the Gospel, alternating Sundays, depending on availability.
The Word says, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, 'says the Lord Almighty,' and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." -Malachi 3:10
